five ay-em. aaaahhhh! just don't say anything.

there is something rotten in the state of diaryland. oh yes. naturally it was bound to happen, especially within the curious web of kenyon diarylanders that has developed in recent months. so i'm amused, because the intrigue doesn't involve me -- but it's a kind of cynical amusement, which is rather far removed from humor and closer to something like the looks i get from non-dlanders when they find out i keep an "online journal." be warned, i suppose.

keeping it on the creepy tip: this google search brought somebody to these pages.

today i made tomato sauce. and i couldn't for the life of me remember the sugar rule. no matter how many spoonfuls i added to the thing, it was still stubbornly tart. i think the stellar cooking binge of last december must have been a fluke.

i have been cigarette-less, and unwillingly, for almost exactly 24 hours now. i honestly can't remember the last time this happened. and all because i was too lazy to leave the house today. i suppose it'll be good for my lungs, as long as they don't go around getting their hopes up. tomorrow afternoon, the quik-e-mart and i have a quik-e-date -- oh yes we do.

i watched entirely too much tv today. (a day of excess, today.) i don't know what came over me -- usually the buzz of the screen clicking on is a swift repellent. but no, i watched two episodes of the simpsons, an episode of friends, an episode of seinfeld, an episode of buffy, and a weepy landscapey kim basinger movie (with vincent perez no less! yummy). i'm all out of sorts now, i feel like i need to be de-programmed. har har.

and all i seem to be able to listen to lately is my robbie williams "rock dj" single. i'm serious. it's speaking to me, and i'm starting to get concerned. ahem:

can i kick it?
     yes you can!
i got
     funk!
you got
     soul!
we got everybody
i got the gift
gonna stick it in the goal
it's time to move your body
