quick phone call to julie yesterday afternoon, the florida-bulgaria wal-mart phonecard connection pretty tenuous. but at least we could hear each other laugh after the clicks.

e-mail from daniel today. new york family unharmed. anxious words. i miss him so much.

erick called two nights ago. no work; burbank's at a standstill. i thought about telling him to fly back to miami for a while if he can. i think he would. we're both lonely. but seeing him again wouldn't make things any better.

the faint is tonight, but i don't have tickets or anybody to go with, so i'll probably stay home and read instead.

i have rainer maria tickets for next weekend, and a pair of movie passes. thank you and your radio show.
